Once upon a time, in the beautiful land of Isle of Skye, lived a family of crofters. This family had been living off the land for generations, and their way of life had been passed down from their ancestors with pride.
The family had managed to keep their croft going despite the hardship of the Highland soil and the ever-changing weather of the region. Each day, the father of the family would tend to the small herd of sheep and cows, ensuring that their land stayed fertile.
The mother was always in the kitchen, preparing fresh, local ingredients into delicious meals, while the children would help by tending to the garden or gathering eggs from the chickens they kept. Every day was filled with hard work, but in the end, it was all worth it.
